The Femistent Grip (patent pending) can be screwed into the end of all Selene and Pandora dilators and the Pandora Handle, and is manufactured from Platinum coloured Tecason P MT.

The Grip is essentially a sphere with two shallow grooves, slightly truncated at one end and with a narrow spindle coming out of the other. At the end of the narrow spindle, is a screw thread which allows the Grip to be assembled with other suitable Femistent products (see Figure 6a).

The sphere on the end of the Grip can free both a woman’s hands for example to read a book comfortably whilst perhaps dilating lying down. This is because initially the woman can position the dilator using one hand, and then free that hand by closing her thighs onto the Grip to hold it in position. Then the dilator is held securely and comfortably in position by the Grip due its specially designed shape.

Use of a Femistent Grip greatly simplifies dilation whilst also ensuring that the dilator is held in the correct position exerting the degree of pressure at the end of the vagina determined to be appropriate by the QMP in order to correctly dilate the vagina.

Says Christine of Sussex:  "Sadly I have regarded the use of a medical dilator as a laborious ‘chore’ - due mostly to the types prescribed by the hospital requiring constant pressure be maintained by one hand, leaving limited options available with the other to while away the time. On first sight the Femistent Dilator is breathtaking, however the result was really encouraging in a number of ways: the length of the dilator and shape of the Grip allowed me to hold it between my thighs giving me both hands free to hold a book, etc.  Also, the dilator grooves not only allowed me to monitor progress they also seemed to help lubrication, the shape of the nose is different and this made it easier to use, and finally the texture/material is less clinical than the glass/clear plastic ones provided by the hospital." 

Figure 6b shows a Femistent Grip secured to various combinations of Femistent products including a Selene dilator (although a Pandora dilator assembled to its handle would look just the same), and Pandora dilator without it’s handle.
